Adina Zammit

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Adina Campbell Zammit, who passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 55.

Born in Montreal on October 27, 1970, Adina later made her home in Innisfil. She began her career as a chemical engineer before moving into sales, where her intelligence, determination, and warmth left a lasting impression.

Adina was a devoted and loving mother to Jennifer and Jordan Zammit, who were the center of her world.

First diagnosed with cancer in 2009, with it returning in 2016, Adina faced a 17-year battle with extraordinary courage. She defied all odds, pursuing continuous treatments and clinical trials that extended her time with loved ones. Deeply involved in her care, she advocated for herself with doctors, researching and exploring innovative, out-of-the-box treatment options.

Throughout her journey, she gave hope to many facing similar challenges, enduring complications such as pulmonary embolisms and sepsis with remarkable strength. Her illness did not define her, but revealed the depth of her resilience and spirit.

A true beacon of light, Adina touched countless lives and will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew her.

Though heartbroken, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace. She would want us to honour her by embracing life, finding joy each day, and focusing on the good.
