Barbara Viola Garness 7.6.1940 - 1.11.2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful mom, in her 84th year.

Barb is finally with the love of her life, Allen, her daughters Patricia and Alanna, her parents and sisters.

Barb will be deeply missed by her children, Ken Clute(Jackie), Kellie Kirkpatrick (Richard), Joanne Wright(Russell), Ted Garness (Donna), Allen Garness ( Lana). Deeply missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her nephew Kevin Phippen(Risa), her brother Ron Jameson and family and her many friends.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be in Barrie this summer.

Barb’s legacy is her love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all the many other children that she looked after lovingly throughout her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Children’s Aid Society in her memory would be welcomed.
