Barbara Anne Lindsay (nee Davidson)

Barbara passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital with family by her side.

Barbara had a way of connecting and touching peoples lives everywhere she went, it really didn’t matter where she was. She loved musicals and old movies. Barbara had a tender spot in her heart for children and animals. A few months ago she said good-bye to her cat, Angel. She spent her working career as a manager of payroll and HR.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Schmidt, her sister, Kimberly Davidson, her sons, Grant (Lydia) Lindsay and Blake (Apinya) Lindsay, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, George and Mary Davidson, her brother, Robert Davidson and sister, Shirley Stevens.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration will be held at Legacy Funeral and Cremation Services (600-55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie ON  L4N 5R7) on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 1 - 3 p.m. with a time of reflection at 1:30 p.m..
