Blair Tuckett

Sadly, we announce the death of our father, Blair Tuckett who died two days before his 86th birthday. Dad has struggled the past couple of years with health issues that denied him the independence and opportunities that he had hoped he could continue to participate in. 

Dad outlived the love of his life, our mother Barbara who died almost 12 years ago. 

He will be cherished by us, his kids, Jamey Tuckett (Tracy), Lorie Sperry, Brad Tuckett (Rhonda), and Corey Tuckett (Kay).

His nine grandchildren will remember their times with Grandpa at home, their home or at the camp in Brimley Michigan. They are Brooks Tuckett, Lacy Lalonde (Marco Lalonde), Jake Sperry, Blaire Sperry Baklarz (Andrew Baklarz), Matthew Tuckett, Brittany Loney, Brooke Loney, Evan Tuckett and Jamie Lynn Tuckett. He was also a proud great grandfather to Holden Tuckett, Kaiden Tuckett, Chandler Baklarz, Desmond Baklarz and Lennon Lalonde. 

His big sisters will miss him greatly, Marjorie MacDonald (late Ellis) and Betty Ruth Tuckett. Dad was predeceased by brother Frank (late Elva).

Fred Hewitt, his brother in law of 65 years is saddened. Dad was predeceased by brothers in law Wayne Hewitt and David Hewitt, as well as sisters in law Doreen Gravelle (late Lawrence), June Zuke (late Mike), Marie Bertolo, and Sandra Dickson (late Richard). 

A Celebration of Life for Dad will be held Saturday, April 6^th, 2024 from 1PM to 3PM at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; 705-759-2522). In Dad's honour memorial donations (by cheque or online) to ARCH in Sault Ste Marie or Hospice Simcoe in Barrie would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much Dad for your love.
