Bruce Blewitt

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bruce David Blewitt, on March 21, 2026. Survived by his wife Linda, children, Kyle (Colleen), Meghan and Evan (Lindy), and 4 grandchildren. 

Bruce was born and raised in Toronto, and eventually moved to Brampton, where he lived for 35 years, before moving to Barrie. Bruce lived life to the fullest. Whether it was a wedding, an LCBO or hockey dance or a night hanging out with the neighbours, you could count on Bruce to be the life of the party. Bruce loved to win, it didn't matter if it was bowling, a round of golf, horseshoes or a game of cards, he would let you know when you lost, and would remind you about it years later; and if you were ever in need of an ice cream, Bruce's freezer was the place to check! 

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Victoria Village Manor for the amazing care Bruce received. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Alzheimers Society of Canada in his memory. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
