Carol Youngblut

It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Carol Youngblut of Barrie on February 28, 2026. Carol lost her courageous battle with cancer at the age of 64. 

Carol was predeceased by her husband Kevin. She is survived by her boys Jacob and Quinnton, her Mother Edna (predeceased by father Albert), her brothers Albert (predeceased by wife Sherry only a month earlier) and Joe (Marilyn) of Barrie, and predeceased by Barry (Donna) of Barrie, and sister-in-law Koreen Ryan (David) of Wiarton. She will be gone but not forgotten by many nieces, nephews and family friends. Carol will also be fondly remember by many co-workers and customers from the Big Bay Point Zehrs. The kindness that the her co-workers showed to Carol during her illness, and after her passing towards the boys, has really meant a lot to the family. 

Carol loved her boys and her home. An avid cook and gardener, she cherished time with her family. Her love of looking after her boys was paid back in the care Jacob and Quinnton gave to their mother in the year of her illness. After 14 years apart, Kevin and Carol will be together again. 

A celebration of life will be held at the Legacy Funeral Home 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (Parking and entrance on Hwy 400 side of building) from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on March 21, 2026. Please join the family to share some stories and celebrate a life that has touched us all. Donations to the Hospice Simcoe in memory of Carol would be appreciated.
