It is with great sadness that Chris’ family announces her sudden passing in Barrie on Friday, December 19th, 2025.

Chris was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and daughter.

She reunites with her late father Bill, and Aunt Pat and leaves behind her husband, Stuart; her children, Alex (Abbey), Eleanor, and Trish; her brother Tim (Glenn); and her mother Susan.

Chris was known for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and her free spirit. Her caring heart led her to a career as a PSW where she spent many years doing what she loved most - helping others.

Chris loved spending her time in the sun, specifically in Florida with her family. She loved birds, especially cardinals. She loved hosting meals for friends and family and spending time with her children.

Chris’ caring nature and bright smile will be missed deeply. She will be remembered and missed forever.

A celebration of life will be held later in 2026.

In lieu of flowers, Chris’ family asks that you donate blood or make a donation to SickKids Foundation in her name.

Whenever a cardinal appears take it as a quiet moment to remember Chris and the love she gave.
