Daniel Mark Yousof

Daniel Yousof (Danny) passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at home on February 7, 2024, after a heroic battle with cancer.

Dan was born in Barrie, Ontario on October 5, 1981. Dan was a powerful, loving, brilliant man who lived his life to the fullest and put his all into everything he did. Dan was quick to help those he cared about; he could lift your spirits during the difficult times and was the guy everyone wanted around during the good times. He knew how to take control of situations, speak his mind, motivate and inspire others and put your mind at ease with his optimism; truly living up to his nickname “Bossman Dan”. Dan never hesitated to be real and tell you the hard truths. He had passion for truth. 

Over the past year, Dan battled cancer with an incredible magnitude of strength and grace. He continued to build Liquidation Nation, bring together those he loved, spread laughter, and push himself to the limit. Despite the impact of the illness and treatments on Dan’s body, you could often find him on his treadmill determined to build his strength. He faced challenge after challenge with forward thinking, dignity, optimism, resourcefulness and wisdom.

Dan will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Laurice Yousof and brother, Ryan (Shelly) as well as many extended family members and friends. He is predeceased by his loving father, Fakhry Yousof.

Family and friends will be received at Hiway Church, 50 Anne Street North, Barrie on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 12 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 2 o'clock p.m. (Services conducted under the auspices of St. John the Baptist and St. Elizabeth Coptic Orthodox Church, Oro Station). Interment Little Brick Cemetery.

Following the interment a reception will be held at 159 Line 3 South Oro Medonte.
