Darryl Rowe

Darryl Donald Rowe, born December 19th, 1984, went home to be with the Lord on February 11th, 2026, at Matthew's House Hospice in Alliston, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 41 years old.

Loving father to Benjamin, Thomas and Jewel and stepdaughter Shannon. Beloved son of Carol Rowe of Newmarket and Don and Barbara Rowe of Barrie, Ontario. Darryl was a dear brother to Rebecca (Jamie), and Mathew (Kandace), and stepbrother to Jennifer (Craig) and Christopher as well as a fun and funny uncle to Adelaide, Beckett, Emily, Caleb, Evelyn and Charlie.

Darryl loved all things food and could always be counted on to bring something scrumptious to family get togethers. Otherwise, he would send us photos of meals he had prepared! He also loved the Green Bay Packers which he followed quite closely with his son Thomas. Darryl's faith in the Lord grew in amazing ways these past six years as he battled cancer. He loved having devotions with his cousin Chris and was so comforted when his Dad prayed with him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, at 2pm at Hiway Church in Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Matthew's House Hospice in Alliston.
