Dieu Dao

Dieu Dao, aged 90, peacefully passed away on March 10, 2024, in Mississauga, Ontario.

Born on August 20, 1933, in Vietnam, Dieu Dao's life was marked by resilience and courage. In 1980, he made the difficult decision to leave Vietnam and eventually settled in Barrie, Canada, where he embraced a new life with his family. Despite the challenges he faced, Dieu Dao remained steadfast in his commitment to his loved ones. Throughout his life, Dieu Dao was a hardworking individual who tirelessly pursued the well-being of his family. His unwavering kindness and determination left a lasting mark on all who knew him.

Dieu Dao is survived by his Wife Khien Lai in addition to:

·        Son Hiep Dao and family

·        Son Duc Dao and family

·        Son Long Dao and family

·        Daughter Van Luu and family

·        Son Khanh Dao and family (Japan)

·        Son Thanh Dao and family

·        Son Khue Dao

·        Daughter Hanh Dao and Husband (USA)

·        Daughter Hao Dao and family

·        Son Chau Dao and family

·        Niece Hang Dao and family

·        Nephew Hoang Pham and family

·        And all grandchildren and extended family members who will cherish his memory and carry on his legacy with love and pride.

You are cordially invited to attend the funeral events in remembrance of Dieu Dao. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 15, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, March 14, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Legacy Funeral Home, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (Entrance and Parking on Highway 400 side of building. Dieu Dao's courage, love, and resilience will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was loved and cherished by many.

Lord, please receive the soul of Dieu Dao into heaven, where eternal light and peace shine. May he rest in the peaceful and infinite love of Yours. Grant blessings upon his family and loved ones during this time of mourning. Amen.
