Donald Samuel Gill

September 8, 1948 – June 27, 2026

After a short illness Don passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, ON on June 27, 2026

He was predeceased by his parents William and Carmen, brothers Leslie, Harry, Harold, Dave, Arthur, William, Eddy, Eugene, sister Gloria.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Wavey, daughters Tina (Paul), Angela (Bevon), son Don (Rachel), granddaughters Courtney, Danielle, Deanna, Vanessa, Alexa, Ava, Stella, brothers Lloyd (Barbara), George (Barbara) and sister Flora (Mervin) and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Don was a Godly Christian man who worked hard to provide for his family. Every day around family was special. He enjoyed nature walks, bird watching, puzzles, road trips to Newfoundland and Calgary to visit family. He’ll be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He will be remembered for his kind giving spirit and his unwavering faith in God.

The world is a better place because he was here.
