Elaine Hotchkiss

On May 22nd , 2025. Elaine Edna Hotchkiss (Holtham) in her 85th year, with her husband and daughters by her side entered into the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Beloved wife of Donald Wayne Hotchkiss, her soulmate and best friend. Precious mother to April & Dale (Dave). Stepmom to Graeme, Bryan (Barb),and Andrea. Adoring Grandmother to Brendan (Jordan), Matthew, Christian, Tyler (Emily), Samantha, Amy, Makayla, Cameron, Liam, Oliver, and Madison. Cherished Great-Grandmother to Leah, Karson, Madi, Jameson, and Colter.

Elaine was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and moved to Ontario at the age of 12. Elaine enjoyed a successful real estate career before her retirement in 2005.

Elaine not only lived a full life, she loved life to the fullest everyday. She had a unique way to connect with people, a true gift. She loved to travel and explored the world with her husband, embracing so many new adventures, meeting new people along the way. Elaine embraced the great outdoors and loved her years at the cottage and then their trailer. Time with family, friends, Red Hat Ladies, commities, church community, traveling and helping others, all made her who she was and gave her such happiness.

Elaine was very involved in the church community over her life with Pastoral Care, Prayer Teacher, Lay Reading Warden and head of the ACW. We are rejoicing in the promise of her eternal life.

A small private family service will be held.

Celebration of life will be at a later date for all that knew and loved Elaine.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.

Elaine is now at peace in the arms of her Saviour.
