George Alfred Diebert

George passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12th, 2025, at Hospice Simcoe with family by his side. Beloved husband of Deborah for 33 years. Loving father of Samantha (Calvin Thomson). Dear brother of Carolynn (late Mervin Cipperley) and Judy (Ernie Stockmann). George will be forever loved by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

George, a devoted family man and proud owner of his own contracting business, was known for his incredible work ethic, attention to detail, and selfless nature. His quick wit brought smiles to those around him, and his deep love for his family guided everything he did. A man of simple joys, he never passed up on a Double Double from Tim Hortons or engaging in a political debate. George’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched through his kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication.
