Ian Budd

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Budd family announces the unfortunate passing of Ian Marwood Budd.

Ian, 73 passed away at home in his sleep in the early morning of Wednesday September 24th, 2025.

Ian was born in Corringham, England where he lived with his grandmother. Ian spent the majority of his life in Barrie, where he met the love of his life, raised a family and enjoyed time with his friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Marcia, his 2 daughters, Johanna (Jeremiah), Jacqueline (Zack) and his son, David.

The family is holding a private funeral. There will be a celebration of life for family and friends.

The family asks that any memorial donations made in Ian’s honour goes to a charity of your choosing in lieu of flowers.

Ian will always be remembered for his kind and loving heart, his willingness to help others and the bond he shared with his family and close friends. His witty banter and engulfing hugs will be sorely missed.
