Jean Peacock

Went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Ross Peacock (2016). Loving mother of Lori (late Tim) Eaton, Scott (Tannis) Peacock, and Mark (Dani) Peacock. Cherished grandmother to Brad and Cara Eaton (Chris Ambrus); Marissa Logan (Daniel) and Angela Peacock; and Eric and Graydon Peacock (Paige Simpson). Dear sister of Marilyn Crosbie (late Graham) and brother-in-law Gary Amon. Predeceased by her parents Weston and Bertha Cochrane; sisters Leila Webb (Edward), Eleanor Amon, Shirley Breedon (Keith), Dorothy Moodie (Earl); brothers Jack Cochrane, Bill Cochrane (Marilyn). In-laws Stanley and Mildred Peacock, Douglas Peacock (Kay), Ruth Garner (Tom). Family and friends will be received at First Baptist Church 550 Grove Street East, Barrie on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 12 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1 o’clock p.m. Rev. Edwin Smart officiating. Private family interment to take place in the spring at Thornton Union Cemetery.
