In Loving Memory of Jeanne Wisotzky

Devoted wife of David. Loved mother to Sacha (Claudia), Serge (Lindsay), and Janet Marshall (Brian). Cherished grandmother to Jesse (Sarah), Serge (Brittany), Carmen-Jeanine, Rachel Risteski (Alex), and Charlize; and great grandmother to Weston, Isabella Power, Callie, Pierce, and two more surprises on the way! Jeanne was a caring and talented teacher, counselor, and a faithful servant of Christ.

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we share that Jeanne went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025.

Jeanne lived a life full of faith, love, and purpose. A gifted pianist, organist and accordionist, she served faithfully in her church for many years filling sanctuaries and hearts with worship through music. As a passionate music teacher, she poured her knowledge and heart into her students, helping them discover joy through every note.

She loved her husband dearly and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy. She was both gentle and strong—loving but firm—with a wisdom rooted deeply in Scripture. Jeanne was the kind of person people turned to for guidance; her advice was always biblical, thoughtful, and filled with grace.

She had a special way of making people feel heard and cared for, whether you were a lifelong friend or someone she had just met. She loved chocolate, good conversations, and most of all, sharing the love of Jesus. She never missed an opportunity to witness to others, living her faith openly and authentically. She was also a very social person who loved to talk and laugh.

“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” (Proverbs 31:26,28)

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21)

Jeanne’s life was a melody of faith, love, and service—a song that will keep playing in our hearts until we see her again.
