June Elizabeth Fulford-Caron

After a courageous battle with cancer, June died peacefully with family by her side at Hospice Simcoe on November 30, 2023. Much beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Caron for over 41 years, and cherished mother of Stephen (Kat) Caron of Perth, Christina (Adam) Darbyson of Sarnia, and Michael (Kasia) Caron of Sudbury. June will be dearly missed as Nana to granddaughters Kira and Leah Darbyson.

Predeceased by her parents Charles Fulford (1992) and Audrey Kimber (2023), June was born in Montréal on August 12, 1959. June is survived by brothers Charles and Donald (Ana) Fulford, childhood best friend and ‘little sister’ Lorraine Dupré, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends and neighbours.

June will always be remembered for her talkative and sociable personality, her love of dancing and Latin music, numerous trips to Cuba, and her deep, deep love for her family. June loved looking into her family history, going for walks with neighbours or friends, and taking Zumba and yoga classes.

Friends and family will be received at Legacy Funeral Home, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive (parking and main entrance on Hwy 400 side of building) on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 2 p.m. until time of June's Celebration of Life Service in the Chapel at 3 o'clock p.m.

Many thanks go out to Dr. Dickson, Dr. Rask, Dr. Tam, and all the staff at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and Hospice Simcoe. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Simcoe in June’s memory.
