In Loving Memory of Our Precious Angel

A Tribute to a Life That Touched Our Hearts Forever

With broken hearts and infinite love, I announce the passing of my beloved baby Leonas Michael-Hennessy Munroe, who entered this world sleeping on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Though our time together was far too brief, the impact of my precious child’s spirit and presence will forever remain in my life.

My dear little one was eagerly awaited by all who loved them. While I never got to see my baby smile, hear their first cries, or watch them grow, I cherish every hope and dream I held for them. My heart is full of the memories we made during pregnancy—the gentle kicks, the anticipation, and the boundless love.

My baby’s life, though silent, was filled with meaning. Leonas is survived by loving mother, Beth; MeeMa Kelly Moores, Papa Michael Moores, great grandparents Lillian Munroe, Dorothy and Philip Feeney, and cousins, aunts, uncles, Godparents, extended family and friends who grieve deeply but are grateful for the gift of their presence, however fleeting.

A service will be held to honor and remember my cherished baby at Legacy Funeral Home 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (parking and entrance on Hwy 400 side of building) on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 1 o’clock p.m., with a visitation from 12 p.m. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask friends and family for donations to Hospital for Sick Children and to hold their loved ones close and keep us in their thoughts as we navigate this profound loss.
