Retired Bell Canada Executive, talented golfer, world traveler and beloved friend to many passed away peacefully at Roberta Place, Barrie on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her brothers Cantley Speers and his wife Mary, Chuck Speers and survived by her sister in-law Dot Speers. Cherished aunt to Linda Speers (Kerry Kearns), Darlene Robinson, David Speers (Kymber Howard), Larry Speers (Debbie Barrafato), Jamie Speers, (Danielle Carty), and Rodney Speers (Janell). Great aunt “Nana Reen” to Liam, Jaimie, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Amanda, Cody, Erin, Mike and Stephanie. A Celebration of Loreen’s life will be held at Legacy Funeral Home 55 Cedar Point Drive, Barrie on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A private family interment will take place at York Cemetery, Toronto at a later date. At Loreen’s request, in lieu of flowers memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
