It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille Annette Paiement, who left us peacefully at home on November 26, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by her family.

Lucille was born in Cochrane, Ontario, to Irene and Omer Tousignant, and was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Thomas. She was a devoted mother to her children: Michel Paiement, Claire Paiement (John), Norm Paiement (Patsy), Denise Barber (Wayne), Roger Paiement (Sue), Aurel Paiement, AJ Paiement, Carole Paiement, and Ronald Paiement. Her family was her greatest joy, and her legacy lives on through her 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Lucille will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings Carmen Tache (Albert), Raymond Tousignant (Diane), and Denis Tousignant (Betty), as well as many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

She was a woman of warmth, strength, and kindness, whose love for family and friends touched countless lives. Her home was always a place of welcome and laughter, and her memory will forever be cherished.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring to honor Lucille’s remarkable life.
