Lynda Casselman

Linda Marie Casselman, 63, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on May 17th, 2025, at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre after complications due to her courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born on March 20, 1962, in North York, Ontario, to Margaret Gariepy and Duncan Williams. She met the love of her life, Jon Casselman, at the age of 19, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion over 40 beautiful years.

Linda was a devoted wife, a nurturing daughter, a loving sister, and—above all—a proud and dedicated mother. She is survived by her beloved husband Jon, her children Michelle and Jordan, her mother Margaret, and her brother Ken (Chris). She will also be deeply missed by her cherished four-legged grand-pets, Luxy, Louie, and Marley.

Her death was preceded by her father Duncan and her stepfather Al, both of whom she held close in her heart.

A mother first and foremost, Linda poured her heart into her family and created a home filled with warmth, comfort, and unconditional love. Her strength, kindness, and quiet wisdom touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s memory to the Hudson Regional Cancer Centre (North Simcoe Muskoka).

Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to guide us with the same gentle, steady love she gave so freely in life.
