Murray Mitchell

Murray passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Thursday May, 29th, 2025 at the age of 65.

Predeceased by his parents Norma and Arthur Mitchell. Cherished father to Courtney (Cole), and Grandfather to Magnus Arthur. Dear brother to the late Norm (Juanita), Stuart (late Norma), Janet (Marcel), Marilyn (late Winston), Karen (Morris), Gayle, Deborah (Herb), Tami (Ron), Mark, and Kelly. Murray will be forever loved and remembered by his many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Relatives and friends will be received at Legacy Funeral Home, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (entrance and parking on Hwy 400 side of building) for an informal Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, June 7, 2025 between 1 and 3 p.m. A Grave Side Service will be held at Barrie Union Cemetery (338 Sunnidale Road, Barrie) at a later late.

Murray's family would like to thank and honor the many caregivers at Simcoe Terrace, The Loft for the care and kindness given to Murray.

If so desired, memorial donations to CMHA or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
