Patrick O'Reilly

Patrick O'Reilly was born August 4, 1939 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He played Gaelic games and basketball growing up. He was also involved in Youth Clubs. He married Susan (Lyons) March 5, 1962 and together went on to have 4 children.

In May 1970 Pat & Susan left for Canada. They lived in Toronto for over 30 years. Patrick was involved with starting Co-op housing in Etobicoke. Patrick worked in the aircraft industry for 27 years.

In 1998 Pat, Susan and Family moved to Barrie. There they joined St John Vianney Parish and Pat was in the church choir for 20 years.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife Susan for 63 years and their 4 sons Kieran (Stacey), Declan, Brendan, and Michael and his brothers and sisters in Ireland. Patrick was a great husband and father who loved his faith, family and country.

Family and friends will be received at St. John Vianney Catholic Church Parish Hall, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 o'clock a.m. Light refreshments will be served in the Parish Hall immediately following the Funeral Mass. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Barrie.
