Peter Landolt

Died at the age of 90 at his home in Orillia on April 14, 2026.

Peter had a deep love for the land, and took great joy in growing his own food. He spent many years living on a farm in Coldwater, where he found happiness in planting, tending, and harvesting to his heart’s content.

A dedicated and accomplished student, Peter earned degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from McGill University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario. He was also a Chartered Industrial Accountant.

Peter is lovingly remembered by his daughter Elayne (Tim) and her sons Taylor, Cameron, and Braedan, and by his son Paul and his children Hayden, Brooke, and Karrington. He was predeceased by his son David, who is survived by his wife Leslie and their children, Quinn and Grace.

Family and friends will be received at Legacy Funeral Home, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (Parking and main entrance on Hwy 400 side of building), Barrie, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a light lunch to be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
