Robert Milne

The Daughters Kerry Milne and Kim Milne are mourning the loss of their Father Robert Clarence Milne. Who has passed away at Simcoe Hospice at the age of 82 on September 18th 2025. Robert was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. He was the Oldest Son of the late William Milne and late Elizabeth Palka. Robert was Big Brother to the late Andrew Milne, Margo (Ralph)Piggott and David(Sylvia)Milne. Robert will be forever missed by his daughter’s Kerry and Kim Milne(Nick). He was the Grandfather to Dylan, Zackery and Justyn(Lynette).

Robert had two loves of his life. For 43 years, he was married to Margaret Oades. Which ended in divorce but remained friends. Then he met Liz Blay, his second love of his life. They traveled together and made memories.

He will be missed by his nieces Shelley, Terry Lee(Jeff) and nephews the late Darren Milne, David Jr Milne and Andrew Piggott. Also by Sean Kennard (the Son he never had).

Robert was well known as a Hockey Coach to so many for so many years. He loved fishing, hunting, canoeing, four wheeling, baseball and golf.

But his one Love was his 1968 Camaro. He would have the biggest smile when he drove her.

Robert has already been cremated as per his wishes. No visitation will take place. However a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Kerry and Kim Milne would like all Donations to be sent to Simcoe Hospice in lieu of flowers. Simcoe Hospice made Our Father’s stay Beautiful in his final days and we’re very Compassionate.
