Forever in Our Hearts 

Ronald Edward Keith Kerr 

March 12, 1936 – December 2, 2025 

With profound love and gratitude, we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald Edward Keith Kerr on December 2, 2025, at age 89, with his beloved wife of 67 years, Marjorie, by his side. 

Born to the late John and Hazel Kerr, and predeceased by brothers Spencer and William, Ron was a devoted husband, a loving father to Greg (Laurel), Deborah, and Steven (Mary), and a cherished grandfather to Dr. Sean (Amanda), Celina (Adam), and Spencer (Ryan). 

Known for his warm smile, bright blue eyes, and generous spirit, Ron was a true gentleman whose kindness lifted everyone around him. An entrepreneur at heart, he built several successful businesses, including his favourite—Top Hat Limousine Service in Toronto. He found joy in simple pleasures: buying and selling cars, cheering on his pick at the races, and creating or fixing anything with care. 

Ron loved wintering in Florida, boating on Lake Muskoka and Lake Simcoe, and preparing gourmet meals that brought family and friends together. A natural host, he filled gatherings with laughter, stories, and unforgettable warmth. 

Ron’s kindness, generosity, and joyful presence remained constant throughout his life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Waterview Condominium, 6 Toronto Street, Barrie, on Friday, December 19th, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.

A private inurnment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
