In loving memory of Scott (Speed, Scooter, Bond)
With a heavy heart and profound heartbreak, we announce the passing of Scott Bond, "007", 51 years of age, on Friday, June 5th, 2026.
Scott was the greatest Dad and Bud, deeply devoted to the loves of his life, his kids, Dylan and Madison.
Every second of every day, Dylan and Madison filled his heart with pride, joy, admiration and love.
Scott was a cherished and dearly loved son of Gillian Ruth (née Bond) and loving "cat" Dad to Gracie and Riley.
Lovingly remembered by Aunty Ann, Aunty Shelley, Aunty Theresa and Aunty Patricia, his cousins Nicole (Liz), Hollie (Archer), Sybil, David (Sue), Jamie, Trinia, Christina, Brandon, Carlin, Reis, Riley, Spencer, Alyssa, Alexander and Cassia. And by his Nephews Ben and Julian. And Niece, Isabel.
Scott was a cherished friend to Sonja, and all Madison and Dylan's friends, and his best fishing buddy, his Nephew Ben, who he loved dearly.
Scott will be forever remembered by all his friends, John Johnson, Scott Robertson, Dan Harrison, Kyle Algie, and numerous others.
Remembered lovingly and cherished by Doug, Susan and Kevin Haughton and his cottage family up North.
Predeceased by his father Larry Ruth (2009), Pop Pop (1990), Nanny (2011), Aunty Barb (2015), Uncle Norbert (2024), Aunty Angela (2011) and his best friend and brother Christopher Bond (2015).
Scott will be remembered by all his friends in Cambridge, Barrie, Vaughan, England, and Australia, especially his friends and coworkers at White Cap in Vaughan, where he worked for the better part of 15+ years as an I.T. Specialist.
Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Russell, Dr. Steph, Dr. Di Lena, Dr. Morris, Dr. Dickson, Dr. Ward-Able, Dr. Ogundmu, Dr. Van Walraven, and many more at RVH Barrie, and to Dr. Emmenegger at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.
Thanks and love to Nurse Angel, Nurse Dannie, and Nurse Francis.
So very thankful for the exceptional care and attention given to Scott by all the staff at RVH Barrie.

Cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to Legacy Funeral Home, Barrie Ont.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
