Sharlene Osburne

Sharlene Osburne (nee Tordiff)July 22nd, 1957 - October 13th, 2025

With great sadness we announce the passing of Sharlene Osburne (nee Tordiff) on October 13th, 2025 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario. She is predeceased by her mother, Audrey Tordiff (nee Elphick), and her father, William Tordiff.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Len Osburne, and her three children - Krystalle, Khristopher (Kim) and Kristian (Robyn). We are grateful that she got to see her granddaughters, Lina and Audrina, before her passing. Her sister Annette, Auntie Maureen, her friend Kerry, and her many cousins, nieces, and nephews, also mourn her loss.

Born in France, Sharlene spent many exciting years there as well as Holland and Bermuda before settling in the Alliston and Barrie areas where she worked as a medical secretary while raising her family. Sharlene was a passionate animal lover, pen collector, Christmas enthusiast, soft blanket accumulator, and teddy bear gatherer. Mumsie will also be remembered for her love of cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies, reading the first chapter of a book - but never finishing one, and wearing sandals when it was cold (despite having many, many pairs of shoes). We will miss her quirks now that she is gone. She will be forever missed by those who knew her but she is now finally able to rest. We love you Mum!

We will be having a memorial service on Monday, October 20th, 2025 at Legacy Funeral Home 55 Cedar Point Drive, Barrie (parking and main entrance on Hwy 400 side of building) at 1 pm. Visitation at 12 pm.
