Shirley Brown

Peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Bradford Valley Care Community, Bradford, Ontario, at the age of 96.

Shirley was the beloved wife of the late George Brown. She was the sister-in-law of Stan Brown (Marilyn) and an aunt to Laurie Cole (Tyler), Rod Brown (Sharla), and Bob Handy (the late Wendy).

A devoted believer in Jesus Christ, Shirley lived in the Bradford area for many years, where she was known for her love of her pets, gardening and involvement in many organizations. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and friends will be received at Bond Head United Church, 4221 Simcoe County Road 88, Bond Head, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Reception in the Church Hall. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.

In memory of Shirley, donations to the Bradford & District SPCA or Hope and Healing Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
