It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Sunday Olugbenga Aketepe on March 9th, 2026.

Sunday was a remarkable man whose life was defined by his unwavering dedication, kindness, and insight. He will be remembered as a hardworking individual who approached every responsibility with commitment and strength. His generosity touched countless lives, as he gave freely of his time, resources, and love. Above all, he was wise, offering guidance and counsel that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A devoted husband, father and cherished presence in the lives of many, Sunday leaves behind a legacy of integrity, compassion, and enduring love.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on March 27th, 2026, at 2:00 PM, Visitation to begin at 1 PM at Legacy Funeral Home 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (parking and entrance on Hwy 400 side of building).

Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
