Suzanne Marie Hamilton (née Adamson) May 9, 1960 – May 26, 2026

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Suzanne Marie Hamilton (née Adamson) on May 26, 2026, at the age of 66.

Known by many names throughout her life: Mom, Grandma, Suzie Q, and to so many simply Sue. She was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words.Sue had a way of putting others first, never wanting to inconvenience anyone, always thinking about how everyone else was doing. She payed attention. She was honest and direct, spoke her mind, and loved fiercely and wholeheartedly. The people she loved always knew it.She found joy in life’s simple but meaningful moments: feeding people, sharing a coffee, spending time with her children and grandchildren, talking on the phone with her siblings and being with her close friends. Those moments meant everything to her, and the love she poured into them will be remembered always.

Sue leaves behind her daughter, Shaunacey Bonneville (Brent), her son, James Hamilton (Michelle), and their father James Hamilton, who will miss her deeply every day. She was a proud and loving Grandma to Annabelle, Oliver, Lillian, Grace, and Jack, each of whom brought her so much joy. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Carol Powers (Doug), Brian Adamson (Myrna), Wendy Synnott (Darryl), Sherry Grant (the late Glenn), Randy Adamson (Heather), as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family, and the many friends and acquaintances whose lives she touched over the years with her kindness, honesty, caring heart and baked goods.Sue was predeceased by her beloved parents, Frank and Eva Adamson, whom she carried with her in heart throughout her life.

Sue’s passing came far too quickly and unexpectedly, and the loss has left our hearts shattered. While words cannot capture how much she meant to those who knew and loved her, her warmth, strength, honesty, and the deep love she gave so freely will remain with us always.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at a later date.Forever loved. Forever missed.

Sue's family her very much appreciated the compassionate care provided by their nurse and doctor at RVH's ICU. They were honest and kind and caring during the hardest day of our lives.

In Sue's memory, a donatation to a charity that is meaningful to you would be appreciated.
